
Over the last four weeks in this series, we have talked about Awakening, Identity, Healing, and Body.
In Week 1, we talked about awakening — that moment in midlife when a woman begins to realize something in her life no longer fits. She starts feeling restless. She starts wanting more truth, more peace, more purpose, and more alignment. She starts waking up to herself.
In Week 2, we talked about identity — the story a woman has been living from, the roles, labels, and survival patterns she may have confused with her true self, and what it means to begin asking:
Who have I been, and who am I becoming now?
In Week 3, we talked about healing — the pain women carry, the patterns that often grow from that pain, and the truth that many women are functioning, but not fully healed.
In Week 4, we talked about body — how midlife changes the body relationship, how many women have been taught to live in criticism instead of connection, and what it means to move from shame and punishment into respect, dignity, and stewardship.
And once a woman begins awakening…
and once she starts questioning identity…
and once she begins healing…
and once she starts rebuilding the relationship with her body…
the next place truth often rises is in her relationships.
And this one is deep.
Because relationships are often where some of a woman’s greatest joy lives.
But they are also where so much pain, confusion, exhaustion, resentment, loneliness, and self-abandonment can live too.
This pillar is not only about romance.
This is about a woman’s whole relational life:
Because midlife has a way of making women more honest about relationships too.
Midlife often reveals the truth about a woman’s relationships.
Not because she suddenly became negative.
Not because she is “too sensitive.”
Not because she is creating problems.
But because she is becoming more awake.
And when a woman becomes more awake, she starts noticing:
That matters.
Because many women spend years being so busy with:
Midlife often changes that.
It makes things harder to ignore.
And sometimes the truth sounds like:
Those truths matter.
This is one of the most important truths in this whole pillar.
A lot of women were taught, directly or indirectly, that love looks like:
But many times, what they are actually practicing is self-abandonment.
They are:
That is not healthy love.
And midlife often becomes the season where a woman can no longer comfortably ignore the cost of that.
That realization can change everything.
So many women carry quiet resentment.
They resent:
And often they feel guilty for that resentment.
But resentment is not always proof that a woman is unloving.
Sometimes resentment is information.
It may be saying:
That matters.
Because resentment often points to the places where a woman’s truth and her behavior are no longer aligned.
And once she sees that, she can start asking a powerful question:
A lot of women have been taught to think boundaries are:
But boundaries are not punishment.
They are clarity.
Boundaries help a woman answer:
Without boundaries, many women become:
That is why boundaries matter.
They protect:
And midlife often becomes the season where women begin realizing:
I cannot keep giving unlimited access to everything that drains me.
That is not selfish.
That is healthy.
This is something many women feel, but do not always say out loud.
A woman can have:
and still feel deeply lonely.
Because loneliness is not only the absence of people.
Sometimes it is the absence of:
A woman can be central to everyone else’s life and still feel emotionally alone in her own.
That is real.
And it matters.
Because many women have spent years being useful in relationships without feeling deeply held inside them.
And midlife often wakes up the longing for:
That is not too much to want.
It is human.
This part is especially tender for many women.
Friendships often shift in midlife.
Women grow.
Values change.
Life stages change.
Energy changes.
Roles change.
Old connections may no longer feel aligned.
A woman may realize:
That can create grief.
And friendship grief is real.
A woman may feel sad about:
Midlife often makes women more honest about friendship too.
They begin asking:
Those are powerful questions.
As children become adults, the relationship changes.
That can bring:
This can be very emotional for women.
Because many women built a huge part of their identity around caregiving and being needed.
So when children grow up, a woman may realize:
That is not easy.
But it is an important part of midlife relationship work.
This may be the heart of this entire pillar.
Women are allowed to want:
That is not being demanding.
That is often the sign of a woman whose self-respect is growing.
Midlife often changes what women are willing to tolerate.
They begin seeing that what they once called:
was sometimes actually:
That realization can feel painful.
But it is also freeing.
Because once a woman sees it, she can begin choosing differently.

What I Wear Now That I`ve Lost 180 Pounds 🌸✨
At 45 I was 431 lbs, a size 5x, and I had stopped doing everything for myself. No makeup. No skincare. No dressing up. No effort. I didn`t feel like I deserved to take up space, let alone look good doing it. 💔
Three years later, I`m 48, down over 180 lbs, and wearing a spring dress that makes me feel like a whole new woman. But more than the dress, I do my skincare every single morning and night. I wear perfume just because. I do my nails, my hair, my makeup. I show up for ME every single day. 🩷
This is what coming home to yourself looks like.

Meal prepping is the gold standard.
This week`s breakfast, raspberry Chia protein yogurt. This has nonfat plain Greek yogurt 32 ounces , vanilla whey, protein powder four scoops, 3/4 cup of milk, 8 tablespoons of Chia seeds and 6 squirts of liquid Stevia.
For lunch, ground turkey ground with spicy Mexican seasoning to taste , a can of black beans drained and washed, one can of diced tomatoes, and a bag of frozen cauliflower rice first cook cooked in the microwave. Sides include roasted broccoli and roasted sweet potatoes seasoned with olive oil and kinder seasoning cooked at 400° for 30 minutes.

3. What do I want to feel instead?
4. What can I learn from this moment?
5. What’s one solution I haven’t tried yet?
Ask stronger questions, get stronger answers. It’s that simple.
