Most of us spent the first half of our lives doing what we were supposed to do:
• Build a career
• Raise kids
• Pay the bills
• Hold it all together
And while those seasons shaped us, they likely also left us a little… disconnected from our own dreams.
Now that we’re older (and wiser), it’s time to ask:
• Who do I want to be next?
• What do I want my daily life to look and feel like?
• How do I want to show up for the second half of life?
A long-term life plan gives your desires a destination.
You’re not just reacting to life anymore—you’re designing it.
Here’s what happens when you get intentional about your future:
✅ Clarity – You stop spinning your wheels and start making aligned decisions.
✅ Focus – You eliminate distractions and set boundaries that protect your energy.
✅ Motivation – You wake up with purpose and direction.
✅ Progress – You stop starting over because you have a system that grows with you.
✅ Confidence – You trust yourself more deeply when you follow through on your vision.
You don’t need a fancy app or a $50 planner. You just need a notebook, computer, or even a Pinterest board to start.
Here’s a step-by-step process to map out your glow-up future:
Decide if you’re planning for:
• 5 years ahead
• 10 years ahead
• Or both!
Think about your age now and visualize where you’ll be in that window.
📌 Example: I’m 47 now. My 5-year plan takes me to 52. My 10-year plan brings me to 57, a version of me who is strong, radiant, free, and in full bloom.
Organize your vision across these 7 categories:
1.Health & Wellness
2.Style & Beauty
3.Career & Purpose
4.Financial Wellbeing
5.Relationships & Community
6.Home & Lifestyle
7.Personal Discovery & Joy
This gives your vision structure and ensures you’re designing your whole life—not just one part of it.
Instead of saying “I want to…,” write it like it’s already true.
This activates belief in your brain and reprograms your subconscious to align with your future.
📌 Example: “I am financially free, own two properties, and work for myself coaching women.”
Now reverse engineer your goals:
• What will Year 1 look like?
• What needs to happen by Year 3?
• What’s the big win by Year 5?
These milestones give you checkpoints so you can celebrate progress and stay accountable.
Your plan isn’t meant to be forgotten in a drawer.
✨ Keep it alive by:
• Typing it in a Google Doc and reviewing monthly
• Writing it in your planner
• Creating a Pinterest vision board
• Using sticky notes on your mirror
• Making it your phone lock screen
Step 6: Stay Focused with Tools & Reminders
Use systems to stay connected to your glow-up:
• Digital Calendar Alerts – Schedule monthly check-ins
• Paper Planners or To-Do Lists – Break goals down into weekly action steps
• Habit Trackers – Track consistency in fitness, finances, or new habits
• Accountability Buddies – Share your plan with a coach or friend
You’re not a robot, you’re a woman in evolution. Give yourself permission to grow, pivot, and reimagine.

• Is this still aligned with my values?
• What have I learned since writing this?
• What needs to shift?
This keeps your plan fluid, not rigid. You’re building a living roadmap, not a prison.

• Fully self-employed as a life coach, content creator, and podcaster
• Offering coaching, digital guides, online courses, and retreats
• Hosting a glow-getter women’s travel group
• Thriving affiliate marketing income
• Writing my first book
• 100% debt-free
• Fully funded retirement accounts
• 24-month emergency fund
• 1–3 investment properties
• Condo in Cleveland for summer and fall
• Condo in Charleston for winter and spring
• Dating again and open to aligned love
• Deep, meaningful friendships
• Strong, loving bond with my son and family
• Traveling more
• Gardening
• Beach life vibes all year long
• Found a church that feeds my soul
• Maybe even a dog or cat to keep me company
Glow-getter, I want you to hear this loud and clear:
You are not too old. You are right on time.
It’s not selfish to create a plan for your future, it’s self-honoring.
You deserve a life that reflects your growth, your wisdom, and your deepest desires. And it starts with intentional vision.
Don’t leave the next 5–10 years up to chance.
Don’t keep waiting for permission.
Start designing. Start dreaming.
And most importantly—start doing.
Because the second half of life?
It’s not your decline.
It’s your reinvention.

My Weekend To Do’s.
Every Friday night or Saturday early morning I plan my to do’s for the weekend.
First I make notes in my notes app on my phone on Friday at work. I brainstorm and thought download all the things I want to accomplish this weekend.
Then by Saturday morning I transfer it to my To Do Notebook. I keep track of everything that weekend and check off what I complete.
It keeps me organized and productive.
So I thought I’d share with you my process so incase you were looking for some inspiration.

Down 179 lbs., 92 lbs. to go.
Mostly natural, 30 lbs, was when I was on Zepbound for 3 months back in 2024.
On a dedicated weight loss and wellness journey since May 2022.
I am 48 years old.
I walk, stretch, body weight exercies, kettle ball exercises & diastasis recti exercises. Was part of a gym for 1.5 years. Now doing at-home workouts.
Meal prep every Sunday. Have certain high protein, high fiber meal on rotation. Drink a ton of water. Cut out sugar & white flour.
Meat, Veggies, Fruit, Dairy, Fish, Whole Grain - Whole foods. Very little processed foods.
Today…

Walked 45 min.
