Why I’m Doing a 30-Day Midlife Glow-Up Challenge

(And Why You Should Too)

Let’s get real for a second.

I’ve been on a long journey of growth, healing, and transformation over the past few years. I’ve lost over 140 pounds, paid off debt, changed careers, improved my confidence, and finally started putting myself first after years of putting everyone else ahead of me.

But here’s the truth: even when you’ve made huge progress, life can still feel stuck sometimes.

Lately, I’ve felt like I’m in a bit of a slump. The weight on the scale has been bouncing between the same three pounds. I’m not walking daily like I used to. I’ve been slipping in my eating habits, skipping my supplements, spending too much, and feeling more tired than glowing. The spark I had? It started to dim.

So, I made a bold decision.
I’m doing a 30-Day Midlife Glow-Up Challenge, and I’m documenting the entire journey online.

Here’s why I’m doing it, what a midlife glow-up really means to me, and why I believe now is the perfect time for women in midlife to focus on themselves like never before.

What Does a “Glow-Up” Mean in Midlife?

We’ve all heard the term “glow-up.” For some, it’s a makeover. For others, it’s weight loss or a wardrobe change. But to me? A midlife glow-up is much deeper than looks.

A midlife glow-up is about alignment.

It’s a full-body, full-mind, full-life reset. It’s getting honest with where you are, deciding where you want to go, and taking powerful, daily action to get there—mindfully and unapologetically.

It’s:
• Reclaiming your wellness.
• Honoring your goals.
• Moving your body with love, not punishment.
• Nourishing yourself physically and emotionally.
• Reconnecting with joy, confidence, and purpose.
• Creating a lifestyle that feels good—not just looks good.

It’s not about impressing anyone else. It’s about becoming the version of yourself you know is inside of you.

Why Midlife Is the Best Time for a Glow-Up

For years, we’ve poured ourselves into other people, our families, partners, kids, jobs. We’ve been the glue holding everything together. And while we wouldn’t trade that for anything, here’s what many of us realize around 40 or 50…

We’ve been last on our own list.

But now? Now is our time.
Our kids are grown or more independent. We’ve lived through enough to know what truly matters. We’ve battled hard things. We’ve gained wisdom. And we’ve got fire in our hearts and goals still waiting to be reached.

This is the perfect season for a glow-up. Not because something is wrong with us. But because we deserve to feel alive, beautiful, healthy, connected, and fulfilled—in the way we define it.

We are not “too late.”
We are right on time.

Why I Needed a 30-Day Reset

Even with all my progress over the past few years, I knew something had to shift.
• My weight was stuck.
• My discipline was slipping.
• My confidence needed a boost.
• My finances were feeling messy.
• My energy felt blah.
• My goals felt far away.

I didn’t want to wait until the “perfect time.” I didn’t want to stay in this foggy headspace. I wanted to feel proud, powerful, and back on track again. I wanted that next-level version of myself to rise, and I knew the only way to meet her was to take action.

So, I grabbed my journal, created a 30-day plan, and started this glow-up challenge. And I invited other midlife women to do it with me.

Because we rise higher when we rise together.

What This Glow-Up Challenge Includes

Every day, I focus on three things:
1. Journaling – Setting my mindset and intentions for the day.
2. Taking daily aligned action – Nutrition, movement, beauty routines, money tracking, career clarity—whatever the day calls for.
3. Evening reflections – Looking back on how I showed up, what I learned, and how I felt.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence, purpose, and momentum.

 5. Reconnect with Yourself

One of the most powerful parts? Looking in the mirror and saying: “I’ve got you. I’m proud of you. Let’s do this.”

Why I’m Sharing It Publicly

Here’s the thing, when I share my goals out loud, I show up.

Accountability matters. And I know I’m not the only one feeling stuck, tired, or unsure of what’s next.

So many midlife women are out here surviving, but not thriving.
We’ve been in autopilot. We’ve forgotten how to dream.
And that breaks my heart.

So, I’m sharing this glow-up online not because I have it all figured out, but because I’m doing the work right alongside you.
I want you to see the process, not just the result.

Because if I can shift my energy in 30 days, so can you.

If this glow-up works, and I already know it will, I plan to take what I’ve learned and create a full 16-Week Midlife Glow-Up Guide for women just like us.
