Here’s today’s question… What practices support your creativity?
And before you say, “I’m not creative,” let me stop you right there. Creativity isn’t just about painting, writing, or making art. It’s how we solve problems, dream about the future, and create the life we want to live.
A midlife prompt on the everyday practices that spark creativity — reading, dreaming, and making space to imagine the next chapter of your life.🌸 Here Are the Things That Spark My Creativity
📚 Reading. I love motivational books because every book teaches me something new. Sometimes one idea or one sentence can completely change the way I think and open the door to new possibilities.
✨ Dreaming and setting goals. I enjoy creating vision boards, writing goals, and imagining the next chapter of my life. Dreaming isn’t a waste of time—it’s where every meaningful goal begins.
❤️ Meeting new people. Everyone has a different story, a different lesson, and a different perspective. Every conversation helps me see the world in a new way and reminds me there’s always something to learn.
📱 Finding inspiration online. I love seeing women reinvent themselves, start businesses, improve their health, travel, and create lives they love. Their stories remind me that change is possible at any age.
🚶♀️ Long walks and quiet drives. Some of my best ideas don’t happen while I’m sitting at my desk. They come while I’m walking, driving, or simply giving my mind time to slow down. That’s when inspiration usually finds me.
🌿 Creativity Is Bigger Than We Think
Creativity isn’t just for artists. We use it every day.
Solving problems at work.
Raising a family.
Cooking healthy meals.
Decorating a home.
Building a business.
Writing in a journal.
Planning retirement.
Reinventing yourself in midlife.
Every single one of us is creating something with the way we live our lives.

💛 Closing Thought
The older I get, the more I believe creativity isn’t about talent—it’s about curiosity. It’s about giving yourself permission to imagine a different future and believing it’s possible to create it. Protect your creativity. Feed it. Give it room to grow. Because when you stay curious, keep learning, and keep dreaming, life becomes full of possibilities. 🌟
