Here’s a question I’ve been thinking about lately… How do you spend your money? Not how much you make, but where does your money actually go?
Take a minute and think about it.
I’ve realized that our money tells a story. It shows our priorities.
For me, I spend money on books, courses, and journals because learning and growing never stop. Investing in my mind is one of the best investments I can make.
I spend money on skincare and a few clothes from H&M because taking care of myself and feeling confident matters to me.
I’m intentionally spending money paying off debt because financial freedom is one of my biggest goals right now.
I also ‘spend’ money by putting it into my high-yield savings account. Every dollar I save is an investment in my future and gives me more peace of mind.
I spend money on healthy prepared meals from Factor because this season of life is busy. It saves me time while helping me stay committed to my health.
And honestly… I’m spending a lot of money on a 10-day trip to Charleston with my son.
Is it expensive? Absolutely.
But my son is 27 now, and I don’t know how many more mother-and-son vacations we’ll get to take. Those memories are worth every penny to me.
So here’s my challenge for you…
Look at where your money is going this month. Does it reflect the life you’re trying to create? Because every dollar you spend is a vote for what matters most to you.
